Hello again, everyone.  I’m generally in a productive mood right now, so I figured that I would dash off another tidbit for your reading pleasure.

After attempting to try to get me to write the “Seduction” prompt again (Prompt #34), Random.org’s fabulous random number generator was nice enough to give me Prompt #14: “Star.”  Please enjoy!

Her mother was a star.  Power gathered around her in a wake, the world seeking a central point from which to establish itself.  A thousand years of study, practice, and devotion carried through on every motion, white fire curling around her fingers.  Today was special to the five year old, though, a real treat.

Her mother looked down at her and smiled.  ”Orange?”
